A. Graduates
Q1. Can past graduates before 2022-23 use the e-Certification System?
As the electronic images of certificates issued in 2021-22 and before are NOT available for issuing any e-Certificate, this e-Certification System under CUSIS is only for the use of graduates of 2022-23 and thereafter.
Q2. Do I need to apply for an account to use the e-Certification System?
Graduates can use Alumni-ID@link.cuhk.edu.hk as login ID and alumni password (MyCUHK password) to login MyCUHK. Graduates may refer to the homepage of Alumni Affairs Office (AAO) (https://alumni.cuhk.edu.hk/en/link-faq) for details of the Alumni ID.
Q3. What are the documents that are now available in this System?
The System supports the electronic image of the paper copy of original certificates issued by the University to graduates of 2022-23 and thereafter.
Q4. What is the difference between the e-Certificate and the paper copy of the original certificate?
The e-Certificate is the electronic image of the paper copy of the original certificate issued by the University as proof of the qualification obtained by the graduate. The e-Certificate bears the following statement:
“This is the digital version of the award certificate for verification purpose only. 此乃畢業證書電子版本，目的僅作驗證之用。”
Q5. When will graduates be able to use the System to share the e-Certificate?
Please refer to the relevant notices of the University.
Q6. Can I download the e-Certificate directly from the System?
The e-Certificate is available for viewing in the System only.
Q7. Can I still get the paper copy of the original certificate?
The University will continue to issue the paper copy of the certificate to graduates. For collection of paper copy of the certificates, please refer to the announcements made by the respective offices posted on their website.

B. Recipients of the e-Certificate
(Employers/Employment Agencies/Educational Institutions)
Q1. What is the time limit to view the e-Certificate?
The recipient should access the e-Certificate before the expiry date set by the graduate as shown in the email sent by the System with subject “Access to The Chinese University of Hong Kong e-Certification System”.
Q2. Can I download the e-Certificate directly from the System?
The e-Certificate is available for viewing in the System only.
